The owner of a wholesale distribution company in Pelham has been indicted on charges accusing him of not paying state taxes on large amounts of cigars sold in Alabama.
State Revenue Commissioner Julie Magee announced the indictment Wednesday of 40-year-old Shamim Ahmed Khan on 42 counts involving willful evasion of tobacco taxes and possession of a forged instrument. Latest News
