Jalea Brooks

General Assignment Reporter

Jalea Brooks joined the Alabama News Network family as a reporter in November 2016. Before joining our news team as a reporter, Jalea interned at WSB-TV in Atlanta.

Jalea graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Journalism and minors in Speech and Theatre. While at Georgia State, Jalea was apart of the University’s newscast and sportscast. She was also a cheerleader for GSU.

Jalea is always looking for different things to do in Montgomery.  She says that she loves being a reporter not only because of the stories she gets to tell, but because she gets to go new places and meet new people almost everyday.
Outside of work, Jalea loves spending time with family, eating good food and of course shopping. She likes to frequent thrift stores to find vintage items and is always searching for a new DIY project.
