This week's Golden Apple teacher is first grade teacher Vickie White.

White has been in education for around 30 years.

She says that after being an administrator and college instructor, teaching young children is where her heart is.

White says she wants her legacy to be love.

 

This week, CBS 8 News visits MacMillan International Academy in Montgomery to recognize a special teacher for an outstanding job in the classroom.
