This week, CBS 8 news visits Notasulga High School in Macon County to recognize a special teacher for an outstanding job in the classroom.

This week's golden apple teacher is high school teacher Amber Berry-Moore.

Berry-Moore is known by her students, teachers and administrators for stepping up to a responsibility when someone is needed.

Her responsibilities include standard 10th, 11th and 12th grade english lectures, AP english, and a planning period sacrificed for the year book.

The list continues... Regardless, Berry Moore says she love teenagers and feels that she is in the right setting to make a difference.
