This weeks golden apple award goes to special education teacher Dana Haley.

Haley was nominated by a student intern who says she has a passion and gift for teaching special children.

Haley says they are a blessing to just be around.

 

This week, CBS 8 news visits Troy Elementary School in Pike County to recognize a special teacher.
