Research Shows Older Moms More Likely to Have Autistic Child Print E-mail

New research shows older moms may be more likely to have an autistic child.

The report says a woman over 40 is 50% more likely to give birth to a child with autism than a woman in her late 20s.

It's not just the age of the mother. For a father over 40, the risk is 36% higher.
