Air Pollution Puts Your Children at Risk

A new study finds exposure to air pollution raises the risk of insulin resistance in children.

Insulin resistance is the precursor to diabetes.

Researchers in Europe tested nearly 400 ten year olds and found the closer the children lived to a major road, the higher their level of insulin resistance.

Twenty-five million children and adults in the United States have diabetes, a number that has skyrocketed in recent years.
