Alcohol Could Increase Heart Rate

Moderate drinking of wine and hard liquor could increase the risk of an abnormally fast heartbeat.

Swedish researchers looked at more than 12,000 patients with atrial fibrillation.  

They did not find the same risk with beer consumption.  

Moderate drinking in the study was defined as one to three drinks a day.
