Autistic Kids Have Trouble Getting Jobs
According to a study in The Journal Pediatrics, young adults with autism have a harder time getting a job compared to people with other disabilities.
Numbers show autistic adults are 50 percent less likely to have a job in the first two years after high school than other special education students.
They are also less likely to pursue higher education.
This year in the US, approximately 50,000 kids with Autism will turn 18.
