Being Tall Increases a Woman's Cancer Risk

New York researchers say being tall may heighten the chance of developing cancer.

Doctors studied post menopausal women and found the taller a woman the higher the risk for several types of cancer – including breast, colon and kidney cancer.

Scientists say hormones in the body that influence height may also fuel the creation of cancer cells later in life.
