A Harvard study finds low breastfeeding rates may be responsible for thousands of illnesses every year.

Doctors say women who do not breastfeed have a higher risk of developing breast cancer, high blood pressure and even heart attacks.

Scientists believe this costs the economy about 17 billion dollars a year.

The Centers for Disease Control says 60 percent of women do not breastfeed as long as they intend to.
