Government is Going After Salt

Researchers say 90 percent of Americans eat too much salt.

Doctors say too much sodium can increase blood pressure and the risk for stroke and heart disease.

The Centers for Disease Control is now funding campaigns to take on the problem.

The agency is looking at local programs similar to those that helped implement menu calorie labeling and smoking bans.
