Cancer Taking a Financial Toll on Young Patients

A new study shows a cancer diagnosis can take a serious financial toll on patients.

The research published in the journal "Health Affairs" finds people with cancer are more than two-and-a-half times more likely to declare bankruptcy than people who don’t have cancer.

Younger patients have higher rates of bankruptcy than older patients.
