Certain Exercises Keep Your Knees Healthy

Too much or too little exercise can be bad for your knees.

Researchers in California looked at cartilage changes in the knees of more than 200 middle-aged adults over a four-year period.

Those who participated regularly in high-impact activities like running lost cartilage in their knees, but so did patients with very little physical activity.

Doctors say activities like swimming and walking are easier on the knees.
