If you are looking to get your hand out of the cookie jar, try just getting off the couch.

A Northwestern Medicine study found that simply eliminating one bad habit will have a domino effect on others.

Researchers also found that the two most effective ways to change unhealthy habits are to cut down time spent in front of a television or computer screen and to eat more fruits and vegetables.
