Commonly Used Drug Can Increase Your Risk of Cancer

A commonly used drug to treat an irregular heartbeat may increase the risk of developing cancer.

That's the finding of a new study published in the journal, Cancer.

 Doctors say large amounts of Amiodarone can accumulate in soft tissue because it degrades very slowly.

Researchers say the risk of cancer may be higher for men and for patients taking high doses.
