New mothers with depression may be keeping their babies up at night.

Researchers at Pennsylvania State University found depressed moms tend to worry more and are more likely to check on a sleeping child and pick them up.

Doctors believe depressed mothers may also want to spend time with their child at night for emotional comfort.
