Diesel Fumes Are Hazardous to Your Health

Diesel fumes cause cancer according to the World Health Organization.

The agency raised the status of diesel exhaust from probably carcinogen to carcinogen, putting it in the same category as secondhand smoke and asbestos.

The new classification could pressure governments to put stricter limits on the fumes.

The U.S. government still classifies diesel exhaust as a likely carcinogen.
