Do Warning Labels Keep Teens from Smoking?

Picture and text warnings on the back of cigarette boxes may do little to deter teenagers from smoking according to a new study.

Researchers in the United Kingdom surveyed hundreds of teens and found only one in 10 thought about the labels if a cigarette box wasn’t nearby.

Here in the US, a lawsuit blocked a government push to put graphic picture warnings on cigarette packs.
