Fewer Kids Using Antibiotics

The number of children taking antibiotics has declined over the past decade but a study in pediatrics finds the rate of decline is now leveling off.

Doctors are more likely to prescribe antibiotics for kids under the age of two.

 Respiratory tract infections account for over 75 percent of all antibiotics for children under twelve.
