Fewer People in The U.S. Getting Lung Cancer

Cases of lung cancer in the US are slowing down.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports cases of lung cancer dropped between 2005 and 2009.

The rate fell more rapidly for men than women.

The American Lung Association says the figures prove tobacco control efforts are working.
