Fewer Teens Having Weight Loss Surgery

By Molly Clifton

The number of teenagers who undergo weight loss surgery has leveled off in the past decade.

Bariatric surgery jumped in popularity in the early 2000's.

Minimally invasive laparosopic procedures have become most popular.

About a third of all children in the U.S. are overweight or obese.
