Genes may hold the key to success in life.

New research at the University of Edinburgh finds genes play a greater role than previously thought in forming character traits such as self control or decision making.

In a study of 800 sets of twins, scientists found genetics to be more influential in shaping character than a person's environment at home and surroundings.
