A new blood test may be able to diagnose depression in teens.

Researchers at Northwestern University developed a test that identifies genetic biomakers linked to depression.

In a small study of 28 teenagers the test accurately identified patients suffering from depression.

Scientists will conduct larger trials to confirm the findings.
