Following a Mediterranean diet may help improve your memory and brain function.

New research in the journal Neurology shows healthy people who followed the diet were 19 percent less likely to develop problems with their memory or thinking abilities.

The diet includes eating plenty of foods that contain omega-3 fatty acids like fish, chicken and salad dressing, while avoiding saturated fats, meat and dairy products.
