Heart Patients Could Face Hospitalization Without Enough Sleep

Patients with heart failure who don't get enough sleep are twice as likely to need hospitalization.

That's the finding of a Swedish study that looked at nearly 500 patients . 

Previous studies have shown poor sleep can increase inflammation and stress hormones, which accelerate the progression of heart failure.
