Eating broccoli may help prevent or slow the most common form of arthritis.

Researchers in England found a compound in broccoli slows down the destruction of cartilage in the joints.

The compound called Sulforaphane is also found in sprouts and cabbage.

Osteoarthritis affects approximately 27 million Americans.
