Homicide Rates Dropping for Some Age Groups

The homicide rate for young people ages 10 to 24 dipped to a thirty year low in 2010, that’s according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Officials partly credit the drop to school-based programs and pro-active parents that set rules and monitor activities.
