Improving Your Chances of Surviving Prostate Cancer

New research shows men with prostate cancer may be able to significantly improve their chances of survival if they substitute healthy vegetable fats including olive oil, nuts and avocadoes for animal fats and carbohydrates.

Researchers say adding a single tablespoon of olive or canola oil a day lowered the risk of prostate cancer death 29 percent.

Adding one serving of nuts a day was associated with an 18 percent lower risk.
