Indoor Tanning Has Significant Risks For Young Women

Tanning beds have long been linked to skin cancer, and now researchers say the earlier people use them, the greater their risk.

Researchers at the University of California, San Francisco analyzed tanning bed and cancer studies going back to 1977.

 

They found people younger than 25 who used tanning salons had a significantly higher risk of developing non-melanoma skin cancer than someone who never tanned indoors.
