It May Be Possible to Take the Pain out of Shots

For babies, a spoon full of sugar may take some of the pain out of immunization shots.

Researchers studied over 1500 infants and found those who got drops of sugar before injections did not cry for as long.

The study indicated sugar may trigger the body to release pain relieving chemicals.
