A Lack of School Nurses Puts Your Child's Health at Risk

The American Academy of Pediatrics also says every school should have a nurse and every district should have a physician and not just for emergencies.

The group says doctors and nurses can promote better nutrition and physical activity in schools.

They can also help students manage chronic conditions like asthma and diabetes.
