Late Diabetes Development Could Lead Memory Problems

Researchers at the Mayo Clinic say people who develop diabetes and high blood pressure in middle age are twice as likely to have brain cell loss and memory problems when they're older.  

Scans show their brains are almost 3 percent smaller than those who don't have diabetes or high blood pressure.
