In this new technological age, medical students are getting training to make sure they keep a human connection with patients.

Programs at Georgetown and Stanford University instruct doctors when to look up from their computers, ipads or smartphones and have a conversation with patients.

Doctors are also instructed to put away gadgets when they don't need them and face their patient.
