Doctors at Georgetown’s cancer center say moms are now sharing more health information with their kids.

It turns out they are sharing the news  even if it’s bad,  like results from genetic test results that show an increase for risk of cancer.

Researchers looked at about 220 moms who had children ages eight to 21.

They found 62-percent moms shared results, especially with their teenage children.

The women who did not pass along results – say they were less satisfied with their decision.
