More Women are Dying from Lung Cancer

Lung cancer death rates among women are rising around the world.

In fact, among European women, lung cancer is set to overtake breast cancer as the main cause of cancer deaths within the next few years.

Researchers in Italy and Switzerland say the numbers may reflect the increased number of women who started smoking in the 1960’s and 70’s.
