Obese Kids Have Less Sensitive Taste Buds
Researchers have a possible clue about what leads a child to become overweight. A study in Germany found that obese children have less sensitive taste buds. That means they have a harder time distinguishing between flavors like sweet, salty and sour. The study suggests that may lead those children to eat more in an effort to register taste sensations.
