Obese Teens Are Damaging Their Hearts
Obese Teenagers who have no symptoms of heart disease already have heart damage.
That's according to a new study presented to the European Society of Cardiology. Scientists found that obese teens who showed no signs of heart disease had damaged hearts with thicker walls. Researchers say more studies are needed to determine if the heart damage can be reversed if the teens lose weight. |
