Obesity Rates Are Falling in America

The obesity rate seems to have slowed in the past decade, particularly among women and girls.

Eightteen percent of adolescents and 35 percent of adults in America are obese.

Still the American Cancer Society says up to one-third of the million and a half new cancer cases this year can be attributed to poor nutrition, physical inactivity, and being overweight.
