Pediatric Diseases Are Hard to Study

Doctors say only a small percentage of new medical research is devoted to children.

Scientists at Duke University looked at more than 60,000 clinical trials and found only 5,000 were designed for health problems facing kids.

They say many pediatric diseases are rare making them harder to study.
