People With Asthma Have Increased Risk of Certain Health Problems

A new study reveals people with asthma have an increased risk of pulmonary embolism.

Researchers in the Netherlands found people with severe asthma are nine times more likely to develop the condition that blocks arteries in your lungs, usually caused by blood clots.

The risk drops to three-and-a-half times in people with a moderate form of the breathing problem.
