Most Effective Screening for Breast Cancer

A new study finds three-dimensional mammograms are more effective for cancer detection and reducing false positives when used with traditional two-dimensional screening.

Researchers in Australia tested more than 7,000 women and found about a third of cancers were not spotted when just 2D screens were used.

They only came to light after additional 3D screening.
