Shorter Treatments May Be Better for Breast Cancer Patients

Breast cancer patients may be better off with 3 weeks of radiation therapy and not the 5 weeks still recommended in many countries.  

Researchers in London say the shorter treatment has similar results and is less damaging to healthy tissue.  

Other benefits include fewer hospital visits and lower costs.
