Sleep Apnea Can Be Deadly for Cancer Patients
Researchers in Wisconsin say sleep-disordered breathing commonly known as sleep apnea can increase a patients risk of dying from cancer.
According to their study, the lack of oxygen from sleep apnea can help cancerous tumors grow.
People who had severe sleep apnea were almost five times more likely to die from cancer than people who do not have sleep breathing problems.
