Sleep Training Techniques Are Safe For Infants

Australian researchers say training techniques to help infants sleep are safe in the long run.

The study looked at two effective methods.

One method involves parents briefly checking in the room when their child cries.

The other technique has a parent sitting with the baby and then slowly leaving the room.

Doctors followed up with the kids when they turned 6.

They found sleep trained children had the same behavior and emotional health as other kids.
