Special Needs Children Need Peers with Strong Language Skills

A new study finds preschoolers with special needs benefit when they are surrounded by peers who have strong language skills.

Researchers from Ohio found the opposite was also true -- when special needs children were surrounded by children with weak language skills, their language development suffered.
