Stress Could Lean to Mental IllnessNew research has discovered a link between adolescent stress and severe mental illness later on in life. Doctors at Johns Hopkins University found young mice with elevated levels of a stress hormone had behaviors often associated with mental illness. More study is needed but researchers say the finding could one day help with the prevention and treatment of Schizophrenia and severe depression. |
