Study Says Parents Giving Children Wrong Medicine Dosages

Researchers found more than 40% of all parents give their children the wrong dosage of medicine because they get confused by units of measurement, like milliliters, teaspoons and tablespoons.

The study authors as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Centers for Disease Control want drug makers to use the millimeter as the single standard unit of measurement for pediatric liquid medication.
