More kids are getting hurt while watching tv.

A new study finds more than 17,000 U.S. children are treated in the emergency room each year for tv-related injuries.

That number is 125 percent higher than in 1990.

Researchers say injuries to the head and neck are most common, and most of the time injuries occur from tv's falling off a dresser or entertainment center.
