Too much exercise may be too much of a good thing.

Recent research suggests chronic training for and competing in marathons, iron man triathalons and long distance bicycle races may cause structural changes to the heart and large artieries that can lead to myocardial injury and heart rhythm abnormalities.

An autopsy found his heart was enlarged and scarred.
